Fourteen years of Poland in the EU

Who has benefited the most?

The Antdata team has prepared an interactive report to see how salaries in Poland have grown since joining the EU. Who benefited the most and who benefited the least?

It turns out that some districts have gone from being salary leaders to being at the bottom of the list, while others have climbed higher and higher year after year.

We provide the interactive report in question below, encouraging you to draw your own conclusions from the data published by the CSO.

Report

The report consists of two pages:

We operate on the Salaries page by clicking on the county of interest on the map. All data on the right updates automatically. By default, the data are for the whole of Poland.
To narrow the view to a specific year, we must first click on the county, and then in the time chart on the bar of the year in question while holding down the Ctrl key.

The Ranking page shows the counties with the highest and lowest salaries, as well as an animated graph (play button) showing what “road” the selected counties have traveled.
Counties are compared by holding down the ctrl key and clicking on the selected points.

To enable full-screen mode, press the button in the lower right corner of the report.

The data cover the years 2004-2023. źródło: GUS.
